Healing Ministry

The Healing Ministry is a group of faithful parishioners brought together by the Holy Spirit to pray with and for those in need of peace, healing, and hope. We believe in the power of intercessory prayer and in God’s loving mercy active in every area of our lives.

Each of us knows someone who is facing serious illness, addiction, marital difficulties, unemployment, disability, or emotional and spiritual struggles. The Healing Ministry exists to accompany these individuals in prayer and support.

After the Holy Face Devotion, members of the ministry are available to pray with anyone in need and to offer prayer packets for healing intentions.

Healing Service

We invite you to join us for our Healing Service, held on the first Tuesday of each month during Eucharistic Adoration, from 6:45 a.m. to 8:15 p.m.

During this sacred time before the Blessed Sacrament, trained prayer teams of three are available near the altar to pray privately with individuals seeking spiritual, emotional, or physical healing. Each encounter is confidential and typically lasts only a few minutes. While prayer is taking place, others in the church remain in silent prayer, interceding for all intentions being brought forward.

The Sacrament of Penance is also available during this time and is encouraged as part of the healing experience.

There is no need to sign up in advance—simply come as you are and ask for prayer for yourself or for someone you love. You are also welcome to join us in praying for others and lifting their needs to God’s mercy and grace.

This Healing Service is a unique expression of parish life within the Diocese. It is rooted in Scripture’s call to pray for one another and in the many accounts of healing through prayer.

We warmly invite you to participate, whether by receiving prayer, interceding for others, or considering joining the Healing Ministry itself.
