Welcome to our parish Pro-Life Committee! We are a group of parishioners who come together to support and promote the Catholic Church’s teaching that every human life is sacred and has inherent dignity, from the moment of conception until natural death.
What Does “Pro-Life” Mean?
As Catholics, we believe that every human person is created in the image and likeness of God and is deserving of love, dignity, and respect. Being pro-life means standing up for and protecting human life, especially the most vulnerable among us.
Our commitment to life also calls us to support mothers, fathers, babies, families, the elderly, those who are sick or disabled, and anyone who may need our compassion and assistance. We strive to put our faith into action by building a culture that welcomes, protects, and cherishes life.
Join Us
Our Pro-Life Committee strives to meet four to six times a year. Everyone is welcome to join us! When we gather, we discuss current events and issues affecting human life, share information and resources, and look for ways our parish can spread awareness and support a culture of life in our community.
Each October, we hold a special collection of baby items and necessities that a new mother may need. The generous donations from our parish community are then given to local pregnancy centers to help mothers and their babies.
We invite you to join us, learn more, share your ideas, and help make a difference in the lives of mothers, babies, and families in our community.
